Win a signed copy of MAGPIE'S TREASURE!

Precisely one week today, on the 28th of October 2010, my very-first-ever children's picture book, Magpie's Treasure, will be published by Andersen Press!

So to celebrate I'm going give a signed copy away! Yes indeed, I'll even draw something for you as well. All you need to do is leave a comment below! Competition ends at 11.59pm on Wednesday the 27th. I'll pick a number at random to find the winner and post their name here on the 28th.

You don't have to be in the UK to enter!

Good Luck!

PS. Just in case you aren't already aware, I am VERY excited. When I was six I wanted to be a bath cleaner and when I was seven I decided I'd like to write children's books instead, which amounts to seventeen years of dreaming/determination.

If you could also please retweet / facebook / blog / sing about it, that would be extra-wonderful! Thank you.

I'm a fan. I introduced your work to my daughter who loves paper and got 100 percent for AS level with a project based on paper cutting and influenced by your wonderful technique of getting a 3D effect through hanging, lighting and photography. I am sure the book will give pleasure to thousands of children (and adults!)... I will be buying it for sure..

Congratulations! I would love to win a copy. I would also love to interview you for my www.christiewrightwild.blogspot.com blog, called WRITE WILD. It's a blog all about picture books. I'm starting a new monthly feature where I interview debut picture book authors. It may be a year before I get to you though. Unless in the coming months I decide to make it weekly. I found your contest from a RT on twitter.
